I found the girls ivory colored sweater dresses. Not real happy about the color but I love sweater dresses. Then I found them each a pants set.

I also did some grocery shopping.

We were to have got bad storms last night. While the weather radio went off repeatedly, and I did hear we had a tornado watch, all we got was wind, a little thunder and lots of rsin.

We have been combining our oats...we are done and have a bountiful crop. Tomorrow we have to bale the straw.

Yes, part of their christmas. I probably should not have as I guess she has their Christmas clothes bought, but oh well, I liked thdm..they can always wear them to church.

Yes, me too...and I hope I can find sale for the straw as well. I have no need for it but for a few bales.

I hope you do too, but it does make good bedding for animals after all. Do you have a storage area for it ?? You could also use it in your garden next year.

Tina that is so frustrating and you're right. As soon as you start cooking or washing clothes the power will go out.

Junie I will tell you what Darbi told me when she was 4 or 5 years old and she was opening Christmas presents "Clothes are not a present." Her mother thought differently but after that I let the other grandmother buy the clothes and I bought the fun stuff. I would love to have an ivory colored sweater dress. I can't find decent clothes anymore. Clothes are made for whores or teenagers not for old women.

I like hanging my clothes outside but the gang neighbors burn every single day so my clothes would smell like smoke.

I buy toys and such ( my grandson woven shows me toys on Utube so I can copy the names and model numbers of said toys. But I like to help " mom" by buying shoes or something useful so that I can help her financially. ( with the triplets and their brother to buy for she can spend ) They all got riding toys from us to go with the clothes. What I used to do for my kids, was they got "stuff" but so they had something more to unwrap, if they say needed new socks or say a pair of slacks, I have them that for Christmas as well, but wrapped it.

Home again...it was a beautiful day to be out. I fear there will not be many more for awhile..

Today was the first full day of using the woodstove, we usually light it in the morning then it burns out but today I kept it going....the cold is here for Winter.

My straw did not get baled, the water pump went on my tractor...I'm soon giving up this hobby farm.

Is that a lengthy fix, Sunny? Or an expensive one?

Tina, it's a $200 part plus the cost of gas with a five hr drive to get the part and a three hour job to fix it. Either way, DH is on his own to deal with it today...I have to take GG to an appt that we have been waiting forever for with a child mental health professional.

We are under a heavy rain warning for today...wish I could send it your way.

The rain storm is awful.

I do have generators, Sunny. But my big one needs servicing badly. And my little one is where I can't get to it. So I will do without. It will only be two days at most.

Tina is Tangela you're oldest? Hope you find some clothes for her and if you do let me know where because I'd like something new to wear. I got my tennis shoes when Ginger was in college and the pants I wore today I got the day Colt was born and he's 8. My shoes today are hand me downs from Darbi. Darbi still doesn't want clothes as a gift. She pretty much doesn't care what she wears or how she looks. Aubry is the opposite. Are you working on digging out that generator?

I just finished watching the Nightly News.it seems that California is in a very bad way. Now while Tina is in Southern California, I am still worried about her and her family.

I know, it must be so frustrating. Power is a necessity these days....I hope she can get her generator fixed.
