Good morning, the sun is shining but there is a chance of showers. I gave in and did a few loads of laundry to throw in the dryer...it multiplies by itself I think.

Same here weather-wise Sunny. These last few days seem like early fall to me.
At one time was there a person named Sherri from AZ or CO who would sign in once in a while and tell us about herself and grand children or did I dream that?

A friend and I have come to Wilmington beach NC for a couple days. Our room is overlooking Cape Fear River. It’s beautiful here.

They are nasty looking and multiply quickly...the sad thing is that they just started around here about 5 years ago.
I need to mow the lawn if it can dry enough this afternoon.

I am not sure about that Junie, they are cutting the petunia flowers off before they even bloom in my flower pots. I even tried an organic dust powder that I bought for my pots and such....it definitely does not work at all. I hate to use poison but I might do it next year anyway.

at Topsail Island, NC, and just happened to pass by an open air market where Carol Ann Ross had a booth set up. I had never heard of her books but since she’s a local author I bought the first in her A Murder By the Sea series titled Waterlogged. I think it’s a cozy but that’s ok with me. 😎
I didn’t realize ear wigs hurt plants.

I have never heard of Carol Ann Ross. I read cozy mysteries..let me know if you think the book is worth it.

My season is almost over. I'm only getting 2 or 3 cucumbers a day. I think I'll be digging potatoes this week
