The frost is thick but the sun shining on the colored leaves is so pretty this morning.  Next years firewood is on the agenda this morning.

You should have made sandwiches and potato salad for your supper... OR that dip you were telling us about. ..I bet you are tired to beat the band. I felt like I was getting a cold, buty DH convinced me it was my allergies. So...when my DD came by tonight to pick up up the kids.. She looked awful and says to me, I caught Nora's cold...SO...I bet I have a cold.

We're still having warm temps. Not hot but warm and we haven't had any rain, not a drop, since 10/2. We very much need rain.
Still getting tomatoes from the garden.

I took am getting tomatoes from my garden. It was cold a night or so then we get into the 80's in the afternoons and in the 50's to 60's in the nights.. I moved my dad's sage to the south side of my house from a pot. I was afraid that it would freeze out if left on the pot. Now I need to worry about it living in the ground. We have not had more than a sprinkle of rain for longer than you, Sheri. We are forecast to possibly get some rain tomorrow. I hope you do as well. Good night my friends

We are having a dry stretch as well but it is welcome, we needed to get outdoor chores completed. The only thing left in my garden is a handful of carrots. Our frost has been heavy all week.

Well, I hope you enjoy your carrots.
It makes me think of the carrots O made for the kids one time when I had them. I cooked them in butter and brown sugar. My Grandson said they were the best carrots he had had on his whole life..LOL...

It stopped raining here around noon. All we got was about 1/10 of an inch. Gracious
No where near enough to rain, but as the weather lady said, we will take what we can get.

Our rain starts tomorrow, we were lucky to have a week of dryness but it will be followed by a week of wet weather. It could be worse....when I think of what is to come soon.
