My large ones are just various shades of pink...one starts off with green undertones but immediately turns pink as well. My smaller ones are an orange color, although they were supposed to be mixed. Mind you, I'm the only one who can buy a pink lupine that is white then buy a red that is yellow.

Perhaps you should hold a workshop ts o teach your talents to others..... Yup, 'How to be backwards....for dummies like me'. Just got back from a 'live chicken run', then picked up GG's friend for a day visit. She has not been here before, she is such a sweet girl....and responsible for her age. I guess that is from having younger siblings to look after and both parents working.

Yes about the friend. The first time my Calorie went to visit at her friends house, the girls mom was so impress that she said Valarie was welcome at her home anytime. Foster that friendship. Valarie and her friend are still good friends.
The coneflower that I bought yesterday, may be pink, it may not be. The lady I bought from was not sure. Mind you, I would really rather have another color, but it will be what it will be.

Yes, the young friend is a keeper in my eyes. She even gave GG a lecture here about being rude to me.  Cheyenne spirit coneflowers can be red, orange. purple, yellow and white...I have one that bloomed last year and it was orange, the others were too small to bloom but I shall see what they are this year.

It is calling for 6 straight days of rain, great for the wildfires but not for the gardens.

One thing about all this rain, it is sure making for a clean house here. Yesterday I washed walls in the bedroom and bathroom, today I will mop.

Junie, I do not have much hope. We have gotten over 4 inches of rain in 4 days....and it is still raining. That is very bad news....but I will continue to be hopeful.

On most days I would take you up on your offer, Sunny, but wheat is just about ready for harvest here and rain would ruin it. I hope some of the people are able to get some in today, as there is an 80%chance of rain with storms tomorrow.

We could use a little rain here. Not 4 inches at one time please.
I got stung by hornets yesterday. I had never even seen a hornet and hope never to again. They are gigantic and the venom is horrible. My hand and arm are hugely swollen and the pain is almost unbearable. I was supposed to head to GA today but I can't make a fist because my fingers are fat so I don't think I should drive that far plus I feel terrible. I must have a fever from it because I've started having chills. I thought everything in the world had a purpose. So what is the purpose of a hornet???

Jeepers Bestofour, take some fever meds and rest. I get stung every year but have never had a reaction that bad...yours sounds serious.

I read back..sorry Sunny. I will answer you now..No, my SIL does not have any wheat in...but his StepFather may have.
We got our rain yesterday in increments. 1 & 2/10 inches. Overcast and cool today.
