Sheri, I did get to go to the parade ! The weather was dry, but very very cold. I had to take a long hot soaking bath when I got home. I was silly and wore a pair of nylon knee highs instead of warm socks. My toes were near froze. I will remember that for next year.

I am not being affected...but I guess I should buy some to have extra on hand for in case, huh ?? There will be baking to be done after all.

It's o.k. Junie, the news just stated that Canada's main sugar factory is on strike. I am well stocked either way.

I missed the tree lighting in Marshville tonight. I have it on my calendar too and remember looking at it and then just totally forgot it. Oh well. It's cold and wet so maybe I'm better off.

Aubry and I made some cookies from a cookie kit. It was fun and they look pretty good. I'll try to post a picture but not making any promises. I'm still not sure why I can't do pictures anymore.

Couldn't get the picture to post. I tried to post it, got a message saying "all fields aren't filled out" so I put a message with it thinking it needed words, tried to post and got a message saying "your message has already been posted so the post button is disabled." Oh well.

Message Sunny, Sheri, I think she knows how to post pictures on the forum. I cannot post pics either.

I click on 'Use Full Editor', then 'Attachment Manager', then 'select a file to attach', click on the file I want, click 'done' and 'Post reply'.

I believe that you have to have words in a post for it to pass the editor checks (otherwise blank messages could happen); as for already posted messages, once you hit the post button it gets greyed out by a JavaScript action to prevent double posting, so one might have to copy their message and refresh the screen.

Well, the tree is in the house and in the stand. It is a start, it needs to thaw out for a few hours.

Yes, she surely has grown ! I have no idea how our grands are getting so big so quickly.
My house is all set up to receive the tree, but it is still in it's box in the basement. As are the ornaments and the rest of the decorations.

I think I will go to the post office tomorrow then come home and start on the tree. The next day I think I will order the Virginia Grands their Christmas to finish them up.

GG has been decorating. Now if only I could get her to do all the special baking.

I did but she'd rather decorate the baking. That is usually her job. I think she eats as much icing as she uses though.

Good evening. I am hiding from everyone around where I live, it seems everyone has Covid.

My brother tested positive for Covid..and he was at a family party ( I was there) This was the Saturday after Thanksgiving (11-25..Sunny). He is ok now.....and thankfully I have heard of no one else with Covid. I agree with you..hide, and wash your hands a lot.

Colby went to the doctor today and has the flu. He's sick as a dog. Poor guy.
