Hope you feel better Sunny. Thankfully it's a bit chilly here today and is supposed to be tomorrow too. I'd much rather have this chilly weather than the hot. Don't like the heat at all.

My plan was to fly to MS in April but with TSA having issues and a bunch of employees quitting I'm not sure I'll go. Last time I went I stood in line for an hour so I'll bet this time will be worse.

I can understand your position. But if the flight is still going to go, and so would be safe, ...I would stand around for whatever, so I could still go.

If your trip is important to you, then I think you should go. Can you get a refund if you cancel?

It has really cooled off and now we're being warned of tornados. Good grief.

We had a tornado watch and a Thunderstorm watch here as well. We ended up just having very high Winds, lots of rain and Thunder. The really bad weather stayed north then went east. Then there was another storm to the south of us and I have no idea where it went. But it did not come here, so yay !!

It was warm enough for just a light jacket today. Tomorrow it will be like 35 at most.

It snowed this morning turning to freezing rain this afternoon, then to rain this evening. Of course we got the freezing rain warning after the kids went to school.🙄

Today is a clean and mop day, what a mess that gets made here on the weekends...you'd think I had a house full of toddlers.

Thankfully neither Ginger nor I had the weather that was predicted. She's had more rain and wind than I did but it hasn't been that bad for either of us. The Charlotte area, which is NE of me about 35 miles did have some high winds and people are without power.

I went to the gym and now I've sitting here watching Jamie Oliver: Eat Yourself Healthy. He has his dad on the show today. I love watching him.

I love cooking shows..I shall have to watch him sometime. I never have.

Let me know if you like him. I've been watching him for years and years and he's only 50 years old at this point. He's been on TV forever. His show used to be called The Naked Chef because he's been into eating healthy, without breading and lots of creamy and thick sauces, since the beginning. Love him.

I've watched a few of his shows but have never made any of his recipes. I did hear that he and his wife named their kids with names to be bullied with. Just a strange fact that popped up in my head when I read your post.

I remember one show where he was grilling corn right over his propane stove, it made my mouth water.😋

I really need to find one of his shows and watch him to see.

Sunny, I think his children do have funny names added in front or behind their actual name. I'm not sure if the odd names are on their birth certificate or not. I've never fixed one of his recipes either but I always think I'd like to eat it if someone would fix it for me

Hello !!!

My weather was lovely. I had a busy day. Got my hair cut, picked up long leaf pine needles to replace the ones that blew away, then put out 10 bales. I have a 9:30 am acupuncture appointment in the morning to hopefully help this stupid occipital neuralgia pain.

Wow you sure worked hard today, Sheri, but now you have a lot of your yard work done. Good for you.

let's see. Yesterday...my sister, my cousin and I went shopping together. I got some clothes and some Easter candy for one if my grandsons. Then we went to lunch..( yay for food and family). It was a grand time.

Today I went to an all school luncheon that is held once a month. I got to visit with a classmate and a friend of my sister's and once again our cousin. It was a very nice time. Thanks for asking.

What are you planting Bestofour?

I'm not planting much. I've got some petunia seeds and cleome seeds. If I clean out my raised beds, which I'm still pondering, I'll plant some cucumber seeds, maybe okra - it's all still up in the air. Planting food I don't eat is too much work. 84 here today. Too hot!!!!!

Oh gracious, that IS hot. I hope it cools some for you. I would hate to see what July brings you !

Sadly I have Been awake since 4:30 am.

You just couldn't sleep or are you sick?

I didn't go to church today. I guess I could have by this stupid nerve pain was bothering me. The acupuncture yesterday didn't help but she said it probably wouldn't. I have another appointment on Wednesday. My next step is to find someone who will shoot my head up with Botox. I did a few things in the yard today and not a lot of anything else. Got a funeral tomorrow.

I was driven home today. Then we all went out to lunch and then my sister and my BIL went home.

Sheri. I opened my mail and that letter from Dodge was some marigold seeds from her 2025 garden.
No letter but now we know she is ok. I will write her a letter tomorrow.

I am well. I woke up to potty, and then from that point on my mind was on go, and refused to go back to sleep. SO I packed myself up and then drank coffee until it was time to leave for home.

Bestofour, my DDt ried Botox for migraines when she had coverage. She said it it helped but now it is too expensive to bother.
