Most of you know that I got a tank and some nice fish from Margaret last fall - Thanks again, Margaret! kissie Everything is going very well in there, but there has been a developement lately with Big Goldie, the 8 inch goldfish. Everytime I feed the fish now, when I drop the algae wafer in for the pleco - Big Ugly - Goldie eats it [color:#3366FF]WHOLE before it even reaches the bottom. She started doing this a few weeks ago, but now she eats every single one!!! The past 2 days I've had to put in 3 or 4, before she'd let 1 sink to the bottom and hopefully let Big Ugly get his breakfast!

Any suggestions? I can't keep feeding them to Goldie endlessly -
these wafers are not that cheap![Linked Image]

I forget how deep the tank is but I'd hold the wafer in my hand and place it on the bottom, maybe hide it behind a rock somewhere so ugly can find it first, then drop in fish flakes for goldie right away to distract him...???
