Took Emmy to the vet for another check up, She now weighs 6lb 2 oz( I told you she was a ham!) He said she is doing just great, she got her rabis shot today and another shot ( forgot what that one was and too lazy to go in there and look on the paper) He said I was doing well with her too He told her "sit" she sat, he told her "come" she came. he told her "leave" ( means leave it alone) she did. Soo I guess her and I get a gold star for this visit!!

I just read all these posts today for the first time. What an adorable puppy! My daughter was looking over my shoulder & has already fallen in love with your dog!
Is she still biting toes? I read somewhere awhile back that if you squeal like another puppy would if bitten too hard during play & then don't give the dog any attention for awhile she will get the message.

Thanks for all the pictures!
Thanks Popogeejo! Nope she has stopped with the toe biting, ANd I did exactly as you said, someone had told me if a puppy didn't play rough with other puppies before given a new home they don't grasp the concept of Pain when bitten even in play,, soo I used that theory, and it really does work!
Emmy's Look is changing ~ She is getting more hair around her face and her coat over all is a little longer so it appears the 'Yorkie' in her is showing up! She still has a sweet disposition, and Still is a camera Hog!!!

Like I said earlier Emmy's looks are changing. She will be 5 months old August 22, Since the last pictures I've noticed her eyebrows are getting thicker longer and a little more light in color, as well her cheeks ( Longer hair) Dwight said she is growing Whiskers I say the Yorkshire terrier is showing up as she gets older! Her coat is getting longer too and waves just a touch when she is wet.. I have taken sooooooo many pictures today that I couldn't decided which ones to post I chose 8 because she is doing differnt things. The first two show her face better What a Ham!!!!!
Heyyyy That was Dwight that taught her to stick out her tongue at people not Me
More pictures follow.......,
Here you can see the hair on her face that's growing out longer. Not a good Picture but is in the way you can see what I'm talking about ~ longer hair on cheeks .......

Here we went outside And she is sitting like a lady tall and proud! Good Girl! ( she got a treat for that!)
But now it's time to cool off and play!
Testing the water First!!
She usually run under the water If I arch it up for her But never plays in it and barks at it in play! It was tooooo funny to see!! She is actually barking and biting at the water in this Pic! AS IF she can bite it and carry it off across the yard!

It is so funny, about biting the water!!! She is just precious!!! I love to watch her playing, but.... your portrait-like photos of her are so wonderful!! I'm so glad you gave her a treat for that first one...a proud little girl
I like it when someone called her the Forum Puppy!!!
Remember the Butter Bowl That old raggedy thing she has bitten and chewed the heck out of it , But still loves it. I tried to give her another one, But she wants this one!
I told her I was going to throw it away But she looked at me as if to say ...., "You can't be serious! "
Wellllllllll Okay You can just chew on it until there's nothing left then!
She liked that answer.........
That's it..........., No more pictures untill I get brow beat for more!

Oh Diane, I'm so lovin' it!!! She is just too sweet!
On that first one I want to pat her little butt!! Don't you dare take her good ol' toy, mom!!!
I busted out laughing at the second one! She looks like she is saying..'Don't you touch this bowl'. Too funny!
And the third one!!....well, there's just nothing to say!!! She's beautiful. She has got the most alert and bright eyes!!! You'd never know she had been so sick
She diffenatly has a personalilty for sure!! I hope as she gets older she doesn't lose her sweet playfulness,, and she learns more around here eveyday in what is expected of her,, The main thing is as with children to be consistant and have structure and boundries, soo in that case Because she is doing soo well with behavior and health I'll let her keep the ol'raggedy butter bowl
"Grace without perfection is more to be desired than perfection without grace."
awwwww, she is getting so big! I really like the pic of her looking at you saying, "touch my butter bowl and you're gonna get it" look! That is hilarious! I would be playing with her all the time, she is precious!
