Tamara, he is so cute, I love the markings on his face, and the tags make him look like he's got big earrings on his ears, you must feel great that you really saved him,and your hard work paid of, well done. love Mumma Faye
Yup, DD named him Hershey. He won't be eaten by us so it's alright to make a pet out of this one.
Those tags are a fly tag, there is fly repellent in them. They lose alot of the orange colour and fade. They are so big on him, they make him look strange.

Tamara: Cute Calf!! FYI: Hershey is the name of our neighbors chocolate lab.--Good names deserve to be shared.
Has your cow taken to him & visa versa?? I sure hope so--it would be good for them both!!
We had a baby bull named "Tuesday" because we got him on a tuesday

Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain!! .....
Yup, the momma and our breeding bull are pure-bred Herefords, the baby is part Black Angus and part Hereford. Our other three cows are mixed like the baby also(they came from the same farm as the baby).
Yup, Triss that's the new fence. It's a corral in the yard, we have separate areas.
Dodge, those ear tags work wonders, we got them from the vet. Keeps them from getting pink-eye as well.
