We had some but I still went out and watered. And I took the sapper branches off of the tomatoes. I'm looking wardward to the difference that makes. something eat an entire branch off of one of the tomatoes. I was so suprised I guess all the bugs have found my garden now.

Well, I planted 240 bean pod seeds in my garden. I bought my peppers and tomatoes, gotta harden them off first.

I planted my terra cotta pots up and planted dianthus annuals everywhere, stained the front step, moved some more coneflowers around. Also planted my sunflower seeds and black eyed susan vines.

Mulched two more flower beds,(I need more lol ), now I am done til tonight when I will water up a few things.

nice lettuce..If it is in a container, why dont you put it up high so the bunnys cant reach it>

My sister feeds birds, rabbits and squirrels , and then yells because they eat her flowers also..
Can't win .

Well aside from the patio table there really is nowhere else to put it. And then I live up on a hill and the winds ehre can get quite strong so I am afraid it make it fall over, but now that I think about it, I could build a little table like structure on the side closest to house on the deck and then problem solved. Thanks Dodge u have just made my worries go away. I don't have to build it too high, but high enough.

Fantasic Lettuce. Mine looks week. I'll have to dig out my container like yours and see if I can do better. But since I can't build anything the question is where to put it. Questions questions questions lol.

Tammy that was Concolgirl not me .. Mine is in the garden.
Turn a bucket over an put a larger flower pot on top and put the lettuce in that ..
If you have an Old wheel barrel, fill it with dirt and plant.
Or an old scrub bucket .. whatever .
My sister in law planted flowers in an old Potty ..ha ha
She said it set around doing nothing.

Well, I got my bird feeder cleaned out. Lesson learned for me on that one, don't buy cheap bird seed. I will be pulling weeds all summer now.

I replaced it with black sunflower feed. They are tiny seeds, hope the birdies like them. At least it will be sunflowers growing and not wheat and millet.

You mean the bird seed is full of weeds?????? I once heard flower seeds?
Poor you ...........
I dont do birds, they do me........My farm provides them with enough food.

That is sad tho.My sister even feeds it to the rabbits......
Don't know if it is cheap or not.
