That ticker thing. I'm not sure how they figure one month. Especially since its really a "countdown to your baby" site I got it from. May be a 28 day month. (pregnancy, 9 months, 40 weeks??? Ya know?) Bill put a day by day countdown up on top of the forum page with a countdown to his shindig too. { } It is a weekend, friday to sunday. Penny is probably going to get here thursday but more to shop shop shop than anything. You can come up wednesday anyway. I'll be around.
I am pretty flexible as to whether it's in July or later in August, since it's only an hour and a half drive from here! I'm anxious to find out which it will be - if in July, then Amy will probably come up with me for the day to meet Penny's daughters - if in August, she might be in Puerto Rico with her best friend and her family. It all depends on the date...

Date??? Triss said not the 24th My friend Harry has a big party bbq on the 11th, we could mingle into that, he owns a field/campground, we could have our own area/end of the field...or not You know with it being summer depending on work schedules, kids camp etc, it doesnt neccesarily have to be on a weekend... just a thought. I'm closed, at the store that is, on wednesdays in the summer.
Its is times like this I wish I had my old house, the one with 2200 sq feet of pick a spot to sleep, a large flat back yard, pick a spot to pop a tent, a driveway you could fit 15 cars in easily, 3 bathrooms (2 with showers)... and my washer & dryer

I'm Not big on shopping Wrennie But I love going to places like the above link!! To see personal creativity is awesome to me because no two items are exactly alike, made by hands and not machines in mass production.

Does anyone want to do a book trade at summer camp? We could put a list of books we have and are willing to give up and or a list of books we are looking for. And specify if we really want hard cover, prefer paper back or dont mind either way.
We could also do a list like that for the plant exchange and recipes. That way people arent dragging a load of stuff/plants/books/seeds people arent interested in, and with the recipes if everyone wants desert recipes, no use in digging out the chili recipe. What does everyone think????
A guestbook sounds nice for you to have something to keep.
You could start a journal HERE for them all to say things in while they are there, for us to read, (and for me to copy and put into my 'files'!!) Wrennie's Summer Camp Journal
