I think it's interesting to watch the flower stalk of a yucca plant blossom into the beautiful flowers - hope you do too! Ten days ago... this morning...

I had a yucca bloom, oooh pretty, then Bambi ate it :mad: MY yucca here is in my veggie bed
Thanks lynne i had almost forgotten what the blooms were like.

They have such a warm vanilla-honey smell when you stick your nose into them. Just watch for the spikes on your legs!

i saw one in someones yard when i was in Kingston wednesday. Gorgeous! I didnt have my camera with me though. And I didnt think to stop get out and smell it!

Well... I smelled mine at 6p.m. today and there wasn't a scent at all - I think I'll try again in the morning, as sometimes that's when
flowers are strongest here.

Nope - neither Don nor I could detect any scent coming from these
flowers ...
Here is it almost in full bloom. Definitely a brightener on this cloudy day!
