roses are starting to bloom here, I'll get pics between the rain showers. Oh, and I cut back my bleeding heart and it is reblooming again (I'll be doing that every year now).

I accidentally gave my bleeding heart a spray of round up this spring. I wiped it off and pulled some of the leaves off, it survived, but looks pitiful. I feel so bad about that. egad
Hopefully it will be happier next year.
So when do you cut down the bleeding heart and how far down?

I cut back the main stems half way down to another stem that's growing out and I also cut out some of the heavy big stems right to the ground. Well, it is regrowing like crazy and send out a whole new set of flowers.

I left my bleeding heart on it's own last year and it came back big this year with lots of blooms.

I've been bringing in quite a few of my roses, though the bushes are smaller this year then last, I still have quite a few blooms.

My lilies are finally showing their beauty, I planted the stargazer and the first blooms were so pale, I was a bit disappointed, but now their color is all it should be.
