I have a problem, I planted green sweet peppers out of two packages, and it's been about 2-3 weeks and nothing is coming up? I bought a new package of seed today, but can't understand what happened to the first batch I planted. Any suggestions?

These take a while to come up--up to 6 weeks. Are you giving them some extra warmth? Keeping them on top of the fridge might help, they like warmth to germinate.

One OS to rule them, one OS to find them: One OS to bring them all and in the darkness bind them in the Land of Redmond where the shadows lie.

Daisy if you don't have a warm place (80 degree F) you can use a heating pad on low. These work and you don't have to buy a heating mat. If not they will take longer. pepper seeds like it upper 70's to mid 80's to germinate fast. Jay

I concur, It's been 4 weeks with mine and I still haven't seen a thing and it's in the high sixties here most days. Hopefully it won't be to much longer before I see them coming up.
