That 4 pm looks awesome.you'll get some with pink stars in centers and some will have more splashing on them.they are neat.I don't know your yellow flower.does the foliage smell?how tall?

I like the gazania.
Saturday morning I think..got 1 pink red centered gladiolus in bloom.I love these JMG its asugo blue with white edge.they lighten in color as they age.In the background behind garden can is a wild purple Mg thats perienial here and its branch got broke so kinda cascades.its lower half got ate by catterpilliars.Don't hurt the blooms at all.

about the only thing I've got going now is my container garden because of the drought. It's so sad to see everything dried up.

Sheri, it is maddening isn't it? Here we can't go two days without rain. For awhile everything was dying from root rot, too wet. Wish I could send some to you.

Pretty flowers by the way.

Sheri ~we had rain here too for weeks on in and Now We are getting 100's and above with no rain in site . I'm experiencing the same thing to I guess TX is back to the typical summers we're used to. My hostas are getting scorched and they are under trees and awnings , and so are the blackeye susans ARRRRRGh . Funny thing is the Brugs are hanging on as are the 4oclocks The sedums are good, BUt geeeez the extreme of temps from low 80's and moist to 100 and dry, alot of my flowers are looking like they saying "EEEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!"Even my lawn has screaming brown spots .

I just water @ 4:30 AM and give a deep watering to the plants I can't replace, and I even put some lawn chairs in some areas to provide some kind of shade, Looks rediculous BUt it's helping a little. The Moon flowers the heat isn't effecting at all.

The Brug I posted above that bloomed yesterday has now changed to a darker color to it's true color today,, I also posted in Brug thread the opening of the unnamed pink( Not all the way opened yet)

True color of Charles Grimaldi Brug.........

sedum must not need any water because that's the only thing surviving in my sun garden. My 4'oclocks have bitten the dust. Your brugs are sooo pretty.

Sheri your container plants are beautiful, sorry to hear about the others. I know what the heat can do, we also have the hot wind that dries everything out even faster.

Here are some of my container plants, but they are in my greenhouse.

These are only nice inside the greenhouse, the ones in my flowerbeds were eaten badly by worms.

My GH area got turned into the poolroom when added 9 feet to it.My gardenshed has been moved....so the GH can be made.I have 3 slideing glass doors but will use only 2.We had started this once before 3 years ago.Brugmansias go in laundryroom.
I have alot of Tammy in my yard.I have alot of sheri too(I can still count dried up marigold..lol)Out of all that cleome in the fall/spring swap....only the white came up.I think I had one single pink plant till the dog stompped it.Nil cornell is at end of porch in the 25 gallon tub.The verbena& petunias died out.It only gets morning sun now(cause of pool room) so they stay open into the afternoon sometimes. That spider...he was just sitting there chillin.I have a JMG I need to grow out its got this color. Its called Bold ms.piggy.

I got this dwarf picotee pink.I'm trying to grow it UP the brugmansia.
[Linked Image]
It don't seem to have got the hint of climbing. Its bloomed about 8 times though. It is getting bushier.

I killed this lil guy saturday.I'm thinking he's a copperhead.I beat him to death with with my flip flop.
[Linked Image]
Then showed my prized kill to everyone.sis said I should have preserved him in a jar.

I mentioned in another post that my camera won't get fixed. It is still blurry - sometimes. I'm going to have to get another one. I don't have much blooming with the drought and twelve thousand degree weather every day so I thought I'd post blurry and all.

Tonya...I know that pink wildflower.I have some growing down road side.It DON'T transplant well at ALL.I've tried.I sowed a bunch of the seed in my wild area but don't think see any growing yet.I don't think i wrote down anywhere what the name was either. It could be in archives in mystery plant though...about 2 years back.
I like your pink ROS also.If you snip your tips you'll get a fuller plant.snip once and it sends 2 sprouts up or more.I'm going to do my larger tree this year too...while collecting seeds.I had more blooms on tips as well.
