I was just given several tulip bulbs. I was wondering if I could store them and if so what is the best way. I would perfer to plant them late fall.

I would say plant them now, and let them leaf out. bulbs need the leaves throughout summer to gain energy for next years flowers

Thanks Aslock for starting this question.
On Easter, recieved 2 pots of forced tulips. I have 12 bulbs in all.--the blooms are spent now & I was wondering, do I cut them off or let them go brown & do I wait to plant them out until the fall since they have already bloomed, or do I plant them out now????
