OH MY! now I wanna try the orange zest and black pepper, the cajun popcorn, and the pizza one!

I usually cook my popcorn with cooking oil, but we ran out and all I had was crisco. MAN, I'll never use anything else from now on. EVERY curnel pops with the crisco. then thinking back.....that's what my mammaw used back in the day.

We make popcorn on the stove all the time because Maxi gets such a kick out of it and Cricket ~ Crisco is best!

The most fun thing we ever have done though is having popcorn mayhem when all the kiddos are snowed in for the umpteenth day and bored out of their gourds.

I spread a big clean sheet on the living room floor and take the top off of a hot air popper and put it in the middle of the sheet! The popcorn fllies all over the place and the kids have fun chasing it to eat!

lol

DON'T try this with a hot oil popper because the oil splatters just like the popcorn does.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

I'm a microwave popcorn fan grin notme

One of my methods of getting great microwave popcorn is to dip the uncooked packet into water for a second or two...

The water on the packet will create steam in the microwave and ensure the popcorn doesn't lose too much moisture thumbup

We dipped the popcorn bag in water just as Mark suggested and Maxi liked it much better that way. He said the texture was better.
