... and it aint me! They are still wee sprouts and something has eaten holes in some leaves and even eaten all of other leaves.

I haven't seen any green eaters. What ever it is isn't bothering the corn, peas, tomatos, peppers, carrots or herbs.

It may be slugs. They come out at night, when I'm sleeping. How sneaky!

I'll try my pepper spray, a line of salt on the timbers that border the garden and a dish of beer.

Any suggestions?

If it is slugs, you can try egg shell pieces. They cut the slugs' bellies if they go over the edges....always works with my hostas.
