OK Swapee, do you like this? *Wrennie holds up a handmade somethingorother* Then I'll put it in your box. Remind me to run up into the craft room when I get home to get the whazzit to put in there that you can use the thingydos with.
I just did some more shopping. This is fun. I decided that size doesn't matter.I've got my box mostly packed. I might send things off this afternoon. That will be a weight off my mind.

By Wrennie "Isnt this how that other box conversation started?" I have no idea what you might be talking about! ( ) I went to the PO and mailed my box off!! Then I got home and my box was here! I got goodies from Shirl (NL)!
I got paint (9) Wood shapes (1000) scented candle (Blue Denim) leaf buttons butterfly buttons wire wrapped beads wood stickers assorted paint brushes Chapstick and a wind chime. Also included with the rest is a crocheted bookmark (I will probably copy), and a pair of dishcloths made into a pair of britches with attached poem ********************* "Don't get excited And don't get misled These aren't to wear But for dishes instead So take off the bows And pull out the stitches And you'll have two dishcloths Instead of the britches." Too cute. Thank you so much, Shirl!!! This was so much fun to open and go through. It will give me many months of happiness to come!! (It is FUN to be first!!)

I was going to go shopping for *13625* today but the heat was so bad and the temp so high (index 110) I just couldn't!! Suppose to be cooler by Sat. so then for sure; then it wouldn't get sent out until Monday!!
Finishing up a small craft that I worked on today. Heading to the craft store tomorrow to look for a few more things---I have some crevices to fill in my box and if I'm sending my box to someone it's going to be as full as I can get it. Mine should be mailed out on Saturday, fingers crossed.

Carol Jean, I'm always really quick to mail out. It's my own phobia. I'm so afraid something will happen to interfere with my end of the swap that I want to get it done quick. It's the same way I can't be late for appointments or something. I'll get downright queasy over the whole thing. Your swappee won't mind getting your box whenever it gets there. It is the thought and care that goes into them that is more important than the timing. It's all good.

I was hoping everything would be ok for you. I think my hardest choice was the "cute buttons." I kept wondering what your idea of cute might be.
Glad you had fun opening your box.
Now.... are you going to fill us in on that thing you do with chap stick, when you craft? My curiosity is peaked!!
I was relieved once the box was in the mail. I do not like being late in things either. My schedule is such that I have to do things now if I am going to. I am really glad I at least was able to make the items I did for you, made me feel much better.
Wrennie- Nope, I have never visited the site you mentioned. I will now though!
Triss- I will PM you.

Thank you again, Shirl. When I'm doing finicky work, I lick my lips a lot and they get really chapped. I am forever running out of chap stick. I didn't mean to make a mystery out of it. Doesn't anyone else do this?

When I was about 5 years old, I walked across our street and was talking to the elderly neighbor. It went something like this "what'cha doing?" proceeded by lots of why's. Then he got out from under the car he was fixing and told me a secret, when you want to do something good, and you want it done right, you've gotta stick your tongue out. It won't turn out right if you don't. So now, if I'm ever doing anything that requires intense thought or is project-related, you'll see me with my tongue sticking out just a little bit. I always have chapped lips when working on projects.
