My aloe looks real healthy but the tips are brown and dried looking. Been this way for awhile but the rest is real nice. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

No pics. But could it be to much water? that would be closer to the condition it is in right now. Also, it gets no direct sunlight.

It also wants lots and lots of direct sun. My impression is that it is very humid in Baton Rouge, yes? If so, make especially sure it dries out well between waterings and gets direct sun.

When it was getting more sun it was getting spots. Yes it is humid here and we are going through a drought. Because of the drought I have to water everything including my yard weekly. I will set the aloe out of the way. It is in potting soil. Thanks y'all, Tim

Some spots are good, some bad. Offhand I can't think of any bad spots sun would cause. What color spots?
