Are you sure that's alive?
It looks just like the cicada shells we find here all over trees, etc.

Yup. I tried to knock it off the post and it made that noise they make at night and climbed up the post. It's icky. At first I thought it was hollow but after that I didn't get any closer. There's still something in that shell.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

We have really noisy ones here in Penna.

HD told me the other nite to go outside and try the New cell phone, cause it was quiet.

Ha when I got out there, the katydids was a screaming their heads off.. But I dont know how they look..

I love cicadas. My youngest daughter collects the shells and names them all "Aladdin The Dead Bug duh-duh-duh-duuuuuh." Then she sticks them all over her shirt/hair and me and walks around singing to her "babies". It's really cute. It's fun watching them clamor out of their shells. Maybe we're just a little wierd. lol touched

We have those around during the summer. I don't like them. They are loud and really icky looking. Of course, I don't like bugs of any kind, really......SUCH a city girl.
