I'm so excited for you two to meet! My dad is quite the character.....a Londoner with a quirky sense of humor! Tell him that I said he's a pillock....I'm sure you know what that means...that's a term of endearment to us and how we greet each other.
Laura we are meeting at a store Marks & Spencers at 11.30am in Manchester city centre. So by the time you all get up tomorrow we would of met up!! getting excited hehe.
Yes, I'm familiar with Marks and Spencers isn't it linked to the Arndale Center by a bridge or something? I remember there was a bomb set off there back in 96.
You know what's funny? When I was 15 I went back to England....my brother in England gave me 50 pounds to go shopping...so dad took me to the mall. I dragged him in EVERY womens shop I could find....poor dad. And I didn't even have that much money. Things seemed cheap though. But I had to remind myself that "back then" if something cost 5 pounds that was really about $7.50.

Ok I'm back and got some pictures for you all. It was a pleasure meeting your parents Laura, they are very nice people and I didn't want her to go I was nearly filling up!!
Your mum said she will be home on Wednesday about 5.30pm/6pm and she said have a pot of coffee on Laura!! The first picture was in Picadilly gardens, hasn't it changed Laura??? Then we went for a coffee, and had some lunch at Debenhams store!! Oh I told your dad he was a pillock and he said tell her she's a Berk hehe.
Isn't Debenhams a fancyish store? I don't think I ever went in there.

That's typical! I expected that. I'd be disappointed if he didn't tell you to tell me that.
Looks like a chilly day out there today. I bet dad called you love, he calls all women love. I seriously have the best parents in the entire world. I can't WAIT to get the coffee on for them.
Forgot this one of Laura's mum. There will be more to follow when they get back, Laura's dad took some pictures as well. Yeah Laura, your mum did say they have put weight on with all your nan's cooking plus cream cakes and candy hehe.
