I had a post for this in the old forums last year, so I guess I'll start another one for this year in this new forum. This project is where one can crochet or knit a rectangle that is 7x9 inches in any stitch, yarn, or pattern. The rectangles are then sewn into blankets - in my case the project coordinator at Michael's is doing it this year. She will then donate them to a women's shelter in the county. Any area can do this and donate them to the organization of their choice. Full finished blankets are also accepted.

Liz at Michael's is providing all the yarn from the store for us.
Here are my first squares that I finished this past week.
There is another blue one at the store that I finished when we met last Monday.

And here is the new yarn that Liz gave me to take home for this coming week.
