I bought these plants at a recent sale at the Elizabethan Gardens near where I live. I love these little flowers. There must be 50-60 buds on each plant! flowers/toadlilly5.jpg" alt="[Linked Image]" class="post-image" style="height:auto!important;max-width:100%!important;"/> flowers/toadlilly2.jpg" alt="[Linked Image]" class="post-image" style="height:auto!important;max-width:100%!important;"/> flowers/toadlilly3.jpg" alt="[Linked Image]" class="post-image" style="height:auto!important;max-width:100%!important;"/>

Those are beautiful, not in my zone though. I wonder if they'd over winter in pots in an unheated basement?

The flowers are quite small, only about an inch and a half across. The plants themselves are the size of regular lilly plants, like almost any asiatic lilly. What I find amazing is the bloom buds all the way down the stem!

My zone is ever changing. Supposedly I always thought I was a zone 4 but Agriculture Canada says I'm zone 3 bordering on a 2. I must really look into it.

Tam, some maps I see toronto as a 6 some as a 5 and some us maps as a 4 i suppose global warming will make all the zones higher sooner or later (watch canada become zones 3-10 and they'll probably add new zone 12+)
