I'm outta paper.....but I tell ya what. I got the CUTEST little seasonal bench. It was on clearance for 12.99 and it comes with little seasonal signs and bench sitters. I love stuf like that. I got one for me and one for my friend for Christmas.
I got a bunch of other presents too but I don't feel like listing it all out....it was 2 packages that weighed a combined 48 pounds. I'm just bummed to be out of paper....They should have it out really soon though. I hope.

None in my Dollar Tree or Dollar General yet .....I did buy a few rolls of red paper a week or so ago at the Dollar Tree, it wasn't really Christmas paper but red goes with Christmas right? Only bad thing is the rolls in the DT are really short and I went thru those 3 rolls in a flash.
I need to get myself back into the shopping spirit as well. Lots of stuff being put out in the stores. Wal-mart had Christmas trees on sale two weeks ago.

So yeseterday I bought 2small plastic totes-(the ones with handles). I fill them up with hair & body care items. One for each girl. I buy nicer things than they use, but I know they would like to have.
I bought some Christmas cards and I stumbled upon some cute $.99 Christmas tree ornamnets. One style is a small rustic "star" like is all the rage this year. Valarie will be thrilled. (I usually add them to certain peoples gifts, as a topper.)
I am beginning to get excited now.

Gotta start pushing it early!!!!! I don't pay attention to sale papers much---just buy through the year and then I study the Black Friday papers like they are my homework or something.
I have a double dresser, a nightstand and a 2 and 1/2 ft rod that goes from the wall to the side of the gun cabinet. I don't have much clothes, I could pack all of them in a suitcase
I will build a closet some day whenever 'I' get fed up enough and build it myself......and throw out the gun cabinet

tamara: I hear you---I am lucky enough though that Rod's gun safe is in the basement.

O.K. bought two large rattan baskets 70% off, bought towels and faceclothes 50% off with a few things from the dollar store as well. Going to make mom and grandmom 'Bath baskets' for Christmas.
Bought a beautiful 24 by 30 inch picture in frame on clearance for $10(might have to keep that for me )
Started picking up a few little things(scrapbooking supplies) for DD as well.
I am officially started....

We don't have a dollar tree but we do have a dollar store, that's where I have been picking up supplies. They have rub on transfers and everything. I was amazed at the selection.

Hmmm, I wonder. Our store is called Dollarama. Each time I go there, I am surprised at what I find. In fact I went in to pick up a paring knife and ended up spending $32.

I spent $30 in our Dollar Tree a couple of days ago....I never feel TOO guilty though since everything is just a buck and I come out with lots of stuff.
That is what I always figure. You get a lot for your money there so I never feel too bad either. Not that I ever feel too bad when I shop. I mean it is my money after all.
I had a slight twinge of guilt, but just slight...because that $30 would've paid for the Orbital Sander that Mark wants for Christmas. One of the tools on his list. Oh well, I'll just have to save up some more money so I can go get it!
It's really too bad that Walmart doesn't do layaway anymore....that really helped a lot....I'd go early and put hundreds of dollars worth in layaway.
Yeah it would be nice if they still did layaway. Hardly any stores do that anymore.
The other day James bought one of the things that I had planned on getting him for Christmas. Now I have to figure other things out. I told him about it after he bought it. I said...it is close to Christmas so you have to stop buying things for yourself.
I found Maxi a cool reading lamp that clips onto the book from Avon today. He will be delighted to find that in his stocking!
Merme
We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart? The other heart was given to another for us to find.
I think that happens in every store I got into Tam...even the grocery store.
yep, Jess you are right--I always say that a 1/2 gallon of milk costs $20.00--ya know because of all the 'other' stuff one buys while picking up the milk--or bread--or butter--well ya get the idea---
I got the girls some more scrapbooking stickers today.--I am slowly filling up one of those 12 x 12 plastic storage boxes with scrapbooking stuff for them both.
