yesterday there was a bird sitting on the hook where I usually keep one of my hummingbird feeders.--Now I am so sad I had already took the feeder down--

It looked to be a young bird, puffy & such like. It was brown with some white markings (not enough to notice a pattern though) and an orange throat that went down a very small bit towards the chest.

No I did not get a picture--my camera does not have a decent enough zoom to have taken a good enough picture.

Can anybody help me??

Possibly an immature male rose-Breasted Grosbeak.
