Isn't that great? Well it would be except I'll be moving this winter. I'm wondering if anyone can babysit/plant it in their garden until Fall 2008 when I have a place to put it. I'll pay for the postage both ways if you are just willing to give it a home.

Hi Angelblossom thankyou so much for volunteering. pm me your address and I'll send it in early November when I get paid. I'm completely out of postage stamps right now. Thankyou again. nmlAlba-dC15 I'm sure if you list your seeds in the seed exchange you will get many offers to trade. I know that the purple hyacinth bean is very popular and everyone enjoys getting them.

I got the pm from Cindy. Thankyou for trying so hard. I have a heck of a time with the new pm system. Everytime I delete an old pm the person who sent it gets blocked. I've asked Cindy to explain to me again how I'm suppose to do it.
I'm sure it's very simple but somethings I just have the hardest time with simple things and this appears to be one of them.

I wish you luck with them crown imperials....I've tried for 3 years& I'm finished after 9 bulbs failed. They are NOT cheap.I got them from Beckys and they ship from Holland.I've tried containers & inground, just not my luck.
I will age ungracefully until I become an old woman in a small garden..doing whatever the Hell I want!

Oh now you have me scared njoynit. I got mine from Breck's also. I'll have to remember to send the planting instructions with it. I hope it survives because your right they are very expensive and I don't have money to waste on plants that don't survive.
Well thankyou for the heads up. It's better to know in advance so I can prepare myself for the worst incase that happens. Nine of them that's over 100.00 dollars wow. Did they refund your money or make other reparation when you informed them?

The imperials are fritillaries? I'm too lazy to google it up lol I know they're hardy even up here, and they're deer resistant. When I went to Bellvue House (home to CAnada's first prime minister) there was a big patch and I was told it's been there ever since MacDonald 9the PM) lived there in 1867 or so. People have been digging and dividing them every few years. I think the jey is like all bulbs they have to be in a free draining media
