A 39 year old friend is dying this weekend from ALS. Please pray for him and his young wife. We all just hope he goes quietly without too much struggle or pain. It has been a devestating path for them both, as well as for his caregivers.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart? The other heart was given to another for us to find.
Please pray for my cousin Marianne. She was in the hospital this week with an obstruction in the small bowel. While they were working on that, they found a large growth on an ovary. Since it is unusual for a post-menopausal woman to get ovarian cysts, the immediately did the blood tests to detect cancer. Those tests came back negative, but she is still going to have surgery. Thanks.

My friend Joe did pass away in the early morning hours on Monday. The memorial service will be on Saturday. Please continue to pray for Jen; she is going to be so lonely without him! He was diagnosed with the ALS shortly after their wedding and they decided not to have children because of it. Their home has been so filled up with caregivers, social workers and people galore that I think the sudden emptiness and quiet might be really difficult for her on top of the loss.

You are all in my prayers for loss of loved ones and illness. May God bless and you all feel His presence and love. You are not alone He is always there.
I am strong when I am on your shoulders, you raised me up to be more than I can be.
i did tonight. she has lost her toe, and they were evacuated, but the last they/i heard, their house was still intact. i'm hoping for at least 2-3 times a week updates through the fire storm. they are staying in a motor home in oceanside right now. i'll let her know you asked.
Friday I am going to have a couple of hernia's repaired. I will be spending at least 1 night in the hospital. Apparently my inside 2 c-section/hysterectomy incision area is "blown" (??) Must not be as bad as it sounds--I have no restriction
I would appreciate your thoughts & prayers during this time. Thanks in advance

thank you all for the prayers. Ellie is much better, her major prayer need right now is for a new job. her dr told her she has to have something less stressful if she is going to get better for real.
scott has been released from the dr, his only lingering issue is his unwillingness to manage the wound to minimize the scar, so now he is dealing with scar reduction. fortunately, he doesn't keloid and does not have a bad one overall.
