She's the best! We were talking about baskets a while back and she sent me this one!!! It's huge and it's so pretty, you did such a good job on it!!!! The blue coloring is so pretty! I'm just so excited to have a Glenda original and I have the perfect place for it!
That is awesome Loz!!!!!!!!! I like the blue too,, That's the color she made mine too!! ............. She's such a good sister,, ! The one she made me I use to hold bread, a sleeve of crackers,, and things like that,, I don't know If I have a picture or not,, But I'm sure she does,,,
It looks like Glenda is making a lot of people around here happy with her baskets!!,

Thank you, everyone, for such nice comments on my baskets.
I've been making baskets about 5 years. There is a wonderful lady here who has lessons in her home about twice a month and I go when ever I can. I can get supplies for her and on the internet. Going to class "gets me out of the house".
I don't make as many as I used to but I try to make each one using a a little more difficult pattern than the last one.
Thanks again for the comments

Just joking..It does match the green on the flowers..Nice ideas.........I never know what to put in a basket........I do know what to put in my mouth tho.
I better say that the baskets I make are made of a natural reed which is the inner part of a tree. If a basket gets wet, and stays wet or damp, it may mold and eventually rot.
I know more than one person here has put a plant in the basket's I've made and I just urge anyone who does to be very carefull.
Thanks.

Loz are you listening to that story...... You ought to use the basket for dryness..............Like storing your towels in it .
I will, this was just a temporary set up...but I not only have a towel in the bottom but I also have them in trays(even though there's no drainage holes in the bottom of the pots)....there's no way the basket will ever get wet. I would never take a risk like that.
When I redo the living room for the holidays I'll do something else with the basket, it just looks so pretty there with the greenery.
