When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Mary Ann LaPensee
The anxiety is setting in now. Will I find the right kind of things for my giftee? Is this the right color? Who will I get? Will something drastic happen and I won't be able to finish what I've started? <--why I send early. Darn! I should have picked up that ?????? while I was out that way. It's fun but it's like a test that you really want to get right.

Tina I get nervous too! That's why the first few I did I sent so much because I didn't want my person to dislike their stuff and I didn't want to not send enough....I'm weird like that, a little neurotic. And I don't do well with limits.
I think that we'll all be happy with whatever we get though....
Jiffy Did you play hookey from work and go shopping??????I went this morning .. BOught some Haley presents. She has a birthday on dec 8 and christmas 25 ............Grannyb had better hurry up ......
Ohhh, I'll take Cintas name! I would just have to stuff a box full of the weirdest succulents I can find. And I can find plenty! I think she would be happy.

What else do you use for your tree, Cinta? One year I did all glass crystal and white lights. The ornaments sort of disappeared. Weren't very visible at all. The years since, I've used the same crystals hanging in my windows like sun catchers.

I know the first year I did it I did not like it. I sat looking at it and it hit me I needed a lot more ornaments than I had and something to make them pop. So after Christmas I hit the stores for those 75% off sales.
I have one string of 50 blue lights and a few blue ornaments not a lot just a few here and there about 10. I found when you do your tree in crystals you have to do 10 times more than you need with colored ornaments and double the lights.
Also, I have the ornamation to turn the special ones. Have you ever passed a jewelry store and they have a diamond spinning in the display case? My best girlfriend buys me a crystal ornament every year from a jewelry store those are like diamonds spinning on my tree.
I get so many compliments on my tree. It is a 7'sparkling ice sculpture.
Be lazy like me.....I bought a pre decorated tree with lights and pinecones and red berrys...........Not all the silly decorating that others do.......
I did get some frowns on the tree. BUt it is a tree we love ....Natural an pretty.
