Love it, wish i was there. How great it would be to be able to migrate to warmer places during these frigid months; then come back to find those perennials coming back to life. Ok then i wake up. :( .

Sighs, that looks so nice. It was in the 20's here this morning, it's nice to know that it's spring somewhere out there in the world.... I would really love to be sitting on that bench right now soaking up some heat and sunlight....and maybe taking a dip in the pool.

My biggest question is , does it have a plug in charger you dont have to keep buying batteries for ? Or a dock?

I like mine. but need a better zoom......I want to be able to just sent it in a cradle and charge like my cell phone.

It uses a card and comes with a USB cable to upload the photos but I use a card reader to get the photos... much more faster that way

It also uses AA batteries, I think it has a built in charger(never used it since I use a battery charger to charge the batteries)

How long do the 2 batterys last?/// Is what I was worried of??????

It cost me a fortune to run mine on the regular batterys you charge AA .

They is why I ask..........I have to go to walmart and check them out.

I think about two to four hours live time... Good quality rechargeable batteries don't cost that much(About $29.99(Your currency) for four good rechargeable batteries here)

Do you know how many times they are rechargable????Or is that a dumb question.

Now another story....What is Gmail doing.....I have a terrible time with it .
It wont upload photos at all for me ........And some things it wont put online and others will......

Naah it's a good question, I suspect they might lose their chargeable abilities ever so slightly after each recharge , I'm still using some batteries I got a few years ago

I admit I haven't used the Gmail photo albums yet, I make use of photobucket and imageshack.us. I should have a look at Gmail's albums and give it a try

Thanks so much for answering me. I have written down the info on the camera to give to my oldest DD. It is her new goal to get a new-(better)-Difital camera for xmas.

I simply love the passion flower--but do you know if it would grow in the midwestern part of the US of A ?? I get confused if I am zone 6a or 6b--

The passion flower doesn't like much frost and I doubt it would survive in snow...

I'll tell you a little secret... Buy a granadilla, extract the seeds (Which will be encased in little slimy protective cases), wash the seeds and then leave them on a piece of paper(I just use the paper from the printer) to dry out completely in the sun(The cases will turn whitish yellow). Then extract the seeds, and let the seeds dry for a few days if they are slightly wet. Then plant them on the first day of spring and see what happens.

Out of idle curiosity I googled the S3. Folks, this
is a camera you don't buy to just take snapshots of
the kids' birthday party for the scrapbook. Makes
my S30 seem so, um, primitive.

Only problem I am thinkin is batteries.......(Battery eater)?
I want one that charges in a saddle like the cell phone.. I have one for my small fuji......

Neko: Thats my camera alright, takes a bit of time figuring out that camera(I'm still figuring out stuff after a year)

Dodge: If you get the camera I recommend getting some rechargeable 2500mAh batteries or higher

This is tearing me apart ........That camera is worth its salt and I arent.. ha ha ha......
