I've only fried them once or twice. Johnny doesn't like them too much and yes I put them in cornmeal and fried them up.

Come on down and I'll cook up a bunch.

Also, I had salmon today for lunch. This has been a Cindy day all the way around.

Now you got me wanting that stuff, Sheri! I want an Afgrey Day too!

I wonder how long it will take Max and I to roll me down to NC?

The other heart was given to another for us to find.

Oh Afgrey, you are so good for my soul! I've been lost in the Intellectual World for so many hours this weekend, my brain is tired. I really need a good chuckle.

Thanks!

My sister used to freeze them for my Granny...because she loved them so much. Wanted to make sure she never ran out.

I didn't know that. I would have thought they'd be soggy. I'm going to try it. Do you think putting them in ziplocks will work.

I thought fried green tomatoes was just a movie, not a real food. Maybe I'll have to try some sometime.

nope leola--you are not sneaky--just wise beyond your years--(& tht comment cares not what your age is--

I simply LOVE fried green tomatoes---maybe I can get my SIL to go to the farmers market & get me some one day soon--you see my youngest DD taught him to like fried green tomatoes--which is sad, because when it comes to FGT she does not like to share--- rolz

Cindy as soon as you have the time would you find out about the re-heating of the frozen fried green tomatoes?? I think I may have 1 or 2 green ones left on my frozen-out vines, & I just might freeze them if I can stand to NOT eat them when I have them fried-

--I will go see tomorrow and check on the green tom situation--
(I sure hope I do have a few!!!)
