I've had this wire basket for 5 years. I've just stressed myself out& wore the color out of hair trying to line it with spagum moss.I'm now going to order a coco fiber insertable liner. http://www.gardenartisans.us/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=97It just burned me up after not getting it to form wet placeing IN the basket.I tried laying it out on counter....letting it dry.....It dried still fluffy like it was in bag.

I went an bought mine at the cheapo places .. It was all lined. I dont like putting the dirt in those, I put a full plastic pot in them , and my geraniums love it.

I love that basket. I buy the cheapo baskets at Big Lots with the coco liners. They dry out so fast. I started picking up the package of 2.99 baby pampers, soak them and line the bottom.

I bet it would line easier with diapers.I do actually set pots in them it's where my red kalonchoe usually hangs out for the summer, but he's in a larger pot now.
I have a white picotee morning glory for it.Fushia verbena& my white marbled pothos.undecided what else goes in it.I've had to pot up the MG for now cause its ready& will pot up the verbena to a larger pot for now.on hold till liner.

The aloe pot is few years old...less full now too.plus the dog didn't agree with the arrangement of plants.Seems he prefers it empty. They only lasted 14 hours...or took me 14 hours to see(as I slept 8 hours) It DID look good briefly though.....the close pins we're from re assembly(duh a failure)I'm waiting on some scrap presure treated wood...I'll stick it in a tree. And we ain't spending $15 for a liner either.we will do Weezies thrifty way....chicken wire& landscape fabric. Thats duke...The master of destruction..A real 1st class master at that.most days I'd love to wire his mouth shut, but He's hubbys uncontrolled monster.I'm always beating with plant matereal.plus when he did this....I got his mama too cause was so mad....didn't notice that when chaseing...I got the wrong dog (no wonder she looked at me strage huh...)

^ooohhh. that's too bad. A lot of hard work only to have your (incredibly cute!) bad-doggy destroy it. You're not alone. I have a cat, and I thought he was destroying my newly-planted flower bed. It's not my cat doing it, but our good friend's cat (the good friend is also our backyard neighbor, kiddie corner). I told him to get his kitty off my bushes, or he's going to have grilled Huey for dinner one of these nights. (Huey's the name of the cat). LOL
