Cranberry pie...recipe.......This one is in my head an may not work for all.

First I make / bake a regular pie shell.

Bag of cranberrys ..
Wash
add water just enough to make it cook well.
Cook them till soft and mushy
Add tsp vanilla
Sugar to taste

Thicken with cornstarch or flour water......
Pour it into the baked shell and cool.....
Add koolwhip before serving...

I love it .
I will hunt and see if there is another recipe ..ha ha

you are a sweetheart, barb----but I am the type of cook that first needs an exact recipe---then i can go about adjusting it to my liking---so if ya ever find an exact recipe let me know---

well then the next time you make the pie---as you add things write down what you add and the amount--

I make my mom do that for me when i am trying to get her recipes down for "posterity"

I never did the squash bread till last nite.....I used sweet tators and they worked very well......

I might bypass pumpkin this time....

I never made cranberry pie before. I have bought craisins(sweetened dehydrated cranberries) though for muffins. Sounds good Dodge.

I bought whole cranberry fresh at the market last week and I am making mine.
However ......this time I am trying TK idea of using the instant graham cracker crust .........Reason......the box of graham crackers has shrunk so bad......It is cheaper to buy the made one......ANd you get a free alumium plate with ti
