Grandma gave me the recipe last night but she kind of estimated it because she doesn't really measure things out.

She said to peel and core the apples and chop in very small pieces.

Take 6 cups apples, 1 tsp lemon juice and add 1/2 cup water. Cook over very low heat for about 10 minutes, then add 4 cups white sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Then cook until thickened on medium heat(you can see it thicken up on your spoon). Bottle up.

She also said you can make it a Caramel flavoured jam if you use 2 cups of brown sugar and 2 cups of white sugar instead of all white sugar.
