Help! I have a Peace lily that I've watered weekly by placing it in a tray of water. Looking from the top I noticed that the center of the plant is mushy near the base of the inner stems. Is this because I left the plant in the tray of water too long?

Hey Cindy my peace lily is thriving with watering it when it wilts type of schedule. Peace lilies don't seem to want a lot of water.

hopefulbeginner welcome to a great forum, and yes hold back on the watering schedule there.

i don't let mine quite wilt but they do look a little "droopy" when they get watered. i've had mine 17 years now.
