Well, I finally got myself a puppy! She is a schnauzer and poodle mix and the sweetest little girl, she won't leave my side and is so calm (except when I leave the room) I am so excited to finally have my new addition to my family, I am ready for the potty training (wish me luck!) and hopes it goes smoothly and she learns quickly. I also have 2 cats that I think will adapt well. I'll just have to wait and see! :):)
Thanks! Her name is Haili (my boyfriend wants to spelling this way) She slept through the night but I laid next to her while she was in her "house". I only did it last night in case she freaked out too much since she didn't use the bathroom all day. But today I am going to practice keeping her in her house while I'm away so that she can sleep through the night. It's going to break my heart to hear her cry but I guess I gotta do it. I am such a softy!!!
I took her to the vet today, she is almost 6 pounds and should be less than 20 pounds full grown and no more than 2 feet tall. She is getting her "puppy" groove starting which is good and means she is getting comfy at her new home. It took me over 2 years to convince my boyfriend to let me get a puppy and now that I did he is happy I did and loves her just as much. :) I feel like a kid again now!
