Yup, I clean everything every day. But I do only mop every second day now because I wore the shine off my floors. Good thing most of my cleaners come from the dollar store grin

Loz you'd think huh? Nope, he complains every day for me to sit down and leave things alone. One day he totally lost it when he seen me scrubbing the inside of the washer~apparently your not supposed to do that. lol

Loz you remind me of my daughter, her room is a MESS all capital letters as you can see. Says if she cleans she can't find. Go figure. I'm more like Tamara I love to clean, and have everything in order.

It just gets cluttery. The last thing I want to do when I get home at night is clean house. rspb My house is by no means spotless. I have lots of bins in the basement I need to go through too. rolz

lol Is she that bad Tamara? My house is not like that but it is definitely not always in order. Tristen always has his toys everywhere and it seems like the mail gets thrown on the counter and nobody goes through it for a couple days and stuff like that.

Yeah, I'm not dirty or anything but I am a semi pack rat and I have stuff from years ago I just can't throw out....

That's my issue...too much stuff. And no willingness to pitch most of if.

lol Cindy you can't pick all but laundry, just the ONE you hate the most, let's say Hell was you doing that one chore over and over and over again day after day, which would you hate the most?

I chose dusting. I hate dusting. But if you could look outside my window right now you might understand it. They closed down the freeway intersection that I look over for a dust storm a while ago; visibility about 10 feet. Humidity is about 7% so everything is charged with static. I don't live in an air tight house and don't want to. So all of that dust from all of that wind.....

There may be something to the every other generation thing,,

My grandmother was very clean,, I can remember after meals she would take all uneaten food from plates , wrap the foods up in newspaper and take it straight outside and throw Hmmmmmmmm idea Some where, why , I have no Idea I never followed her,, lol She scrubed her kitchen floor everyday,, and the bathroom floor 3 times a week,

My Mother is a packrat Big time!! . besides not minding general clutter,, tho the last few years she has been going thru boxes and piles of junk deciphering whether it is of value,, IF she thinks we( her kids) would want it them she mails it to us,, egad . Sorry to say what I recieve in the mail 80% of it I then throw away or gets shredded and goes into the compost pile ,, UNless it is photographs,, or family history records,, She has been doing this so when she's gone, we "won't be stuck having to go thru it all.. " Thanks for being considerate of us, MOM!! WHEWWWWWWWWWWW kissie

Me?? I'm a tidy freak,, everything has a place , and there is a place for everything ~~~I can use,,IF I havent' used it or worn in 6 months ( besides winter/summer clothes, it gets tossed thumbup I don't let papers stack up,, or mail,,,, Because I was told in Jr. high school,, piled papers sitting long term gets paper mites,, shock I decided wayyyyyyy back then to never let papers collect Mites!!,, nono lol lol and I dust my bed frame and vacuum my mattress once a week so I don't have to worry about,," DOn't let the bed bugs bite!!" nervous

My daughters,,,, Took after My Mother,, tapfoot See Refererance about BIG time! egad rolz

tina, i picked mopping, but had i been able to choose 2, dusting would have been the second one. i remember living in 29 palms... when the dust storms would come through... even in so called "air tight" spaces, we would find dust. it was awful...

and i still hate dusting!

I'm not a freak after all grin I do the same thing. In fact I dare all of you to empty your vacuums and then vacuum your mattresses~you will be shocked at the white powder(dead skin cells) that you'll collect. Wait til DH comes home tonight and I show him this topic lol

I'm very surprised nobody voted for cleaning out the tub yet! After laundry that's my main gripe with housework....I hate doing that. It's not so bad now though that Mark isn't roofing anymore....he used to come home so black and dirty.

Well I really don't mind any of them but I voted for the windows cause I hate dirty ones and the winter here is hard on my level with the yard windows in the family room and my office- I open them and wash them as fast as I can but they get spotted in a week again so thats what I really hate - doing them over and over and it's cold! I like clean windows!
My kids all skipped my cleaning genes too- a couple of the older grands tell me I am way to clean.... none of them are clean freaks though... will have to see if the grands have it as they grown older...

If you lived in the country like I do, your windows never stay clean.. THe bugs dust and air keep it that way.. Insects galore......

I try to keep clean, but like Loz says some places are yuk to do .. Bathtub and commode drive me to the funny farm........But one joy I do enjoy, is washing clothes.........I like that job.
Beats me why.......Maybe glad to have a modern washer .. We grew up with the naughty ringer types.
These still amaze me.......

First thing I loved when I got married,,,,,,,,was having 2 bed sheets.. I thought that was class..........LOL
