With the way things are going here, I might be able to share some snow as well. Usually the wind blows it all away, but they're saying we're in for the coldest winter ever, ya!!!!!!!ya!!!!!! You might think me crazy but cold weather means no wind around here.

i can appreciate not wanting the wind. here, the more wind, the colder it is. i'll be surprised if we hit the projected high tomorrow, we are only supposed to get to mid sixties today. and it isn't 60 yet. the low was 39* brrrrrrrr
We just had 10-15 cm of snow fall (4-5 inches?) and its raining, just dont want it to freeze

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Mary Ann LaPensee
Freezing out and windy but no snow yet....it's on it's way though. I see Kenny was spared, some parts of Ontario were supposed to get almost two feet in one storm.

Forecasts...... sometimes they're right. Sure hope ours is wrong for tomorrow, they're forecasting our famous chinook weather for the next few days. Though the temperatures will rise the wind will make it feel cold any way.

It was in the low 60's this Am then it got cold, windy and rainy. it is still that way.--well the rain has let up.--don't know about tomorrow yet though.

Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain!! .....
the highs are supposed to drop back down this week, not go over 70. i like that. not too cold, but not hot either.
That is our June weather!
It is 16* here right now. Was -5 when I got up this morning. We got 6" of snow on Saturday with another 2 - 4" forecasted for tomorrow. The snow is here to stay because it will not be warming up at all. Not that I expected it too. After all it is December in Minnesota.
This was the strangest storm...it would snow for 5 minutes then stop for an hour then snow a few minutes and stop...it did that all day and evening, it's still snowing now but only added up to a few inches. Quite mild out this morning as well.
Now south of us got hit really bad, there's power outages everywhere. All of Canada seen snow yesterday.

Tamara I wish we had snow instead of ice this morning.
Our "famous chinook" pulled in around 3:00 yesterday afternoon and started to melt the snow till about 7pm, then it started to freeze again. This morning we had one sheet of ice on everything. It takes two to walk safely around here today.
They say it might get warm again this afternoon, more melting time.
Sure hope everyone is extra extra careful today.

We're finally back to our "normal Cold" weather. It's snowing tonight, so beautiful. My boys are cleaning off our pond for some ice staking. They say its great ice this year and they're loving the minus temperatures.
