So I talked to Jessica today for the first time! It was super nice until my phone battery went dead and hung up on her! Sorry about that!

I can def. hear the Minnesota accent, I imagine I must sound like a redneck hillbilly to her though--from what I've heard I sound Southern but I never thought I did!

So who all have you talked to? I need to work on making more phonecalls....I'm gonna do that this weekend maybe....tomorrow seems like a good phone day.

I've talked to over 10 people but I really need to work on more phonecalls.

Ya, don't even need a phone to talk to people. Ya just need a headset with microphone. Google, Yahoo, microsoft and skype all have totally free live voice chat available to ANY computer in the WORLD with a similar setup. I've talked to Sweden, The Netherlands, Germany, and Australia, all at the same time using live voice chat. I occassionally talk to Scotland and England, too. And it's ALL free.

yep, it is thorny, but i do 90% of my calling with a hands free cell phone while i am driving on my hour+ commutes!

I talked to Cindy a long time ago, Jiffy, Francine, I heard Diane on yahoo (my end wouldn't work so I could talk), Merme, and someone who isn't on here anymore. I hate for you to know how forgetful I am but I can't remember her name. I had her name in a gift exchange one time. She had 2 sons and one lived with his dad. He had just turned 12. I think his name was Tristan or something like that. She said one time that her brother was killed with a gun. I can remember all sorts of stuff about her but can't remember her name.

i've talked to a lot of folks who aren't here anymore. i didn't even count them. i consider weezie and catlover still here, even though they aren't. i keep hoping they'll come back.

that's right. Thank you. That's right about weezie and catlover. What about Fernie? I'm not on as much as some but I haven't seen her. And ksgardner.

i saw ksgardner in the game room not too long ago. haven't seen fernie in ages.

How about Becky, remember her? I talked to her a few times on the phone....

well, my list is growing longer......i have talked to cindy, diane, jiffy, carol, and today loz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think this is the first time since high school that i actually like talking on the phone! to everyone!

Yeah, that's right, Cindy! and you are forever making fun of mine! LOL Someday we'll get together in person and have duel accents. That would be a riot.

I have talked to lots of people.............................well 9 that I just counted. I love talking to forum people. My kids think it's so funny too, when they ask who are you talking to and I answer something like "Jiffymouse" or "Afgrey" . I've programmed JIffy's number now so that caller ID comes up simply "Jiffy" . Looks perfectly normal to me.

I do think that you have a southern accent Loz and I'm sure I do have a Minnesota accent even though I don't think we have an accent. But when I have been out of state traveling everybody always knows that I am from Minnesota so I guess I must sound like it. It was wonderful to talk to you Loz and we will have to talk again!

I talked to Jiffy for a bit when she called me to say that Loz's train was running behind schedule and she wouldn't be able to see me at the train station. And I talked to Shirley for a couple minutes when she called me to see if I was okay after the bridge collapsed in Minneapolis! I owe Shirley a phone call too!

I'm glad we finally got the chance to talk!

And yep, you DO have an accent.... It's so funny how we can never hear our own accent since everyone around us sounds the same way.

Interesting Cindy Lou, since YOU told ME that I have a southern accent. Actually Merme and Rita told me the same thing. Around here people ask me where I'm from because they DON'T think I have a southern accent.

Um, Jiffy, I think you missed someone on your list there. Jiffy is the only person I've talked to and it was only briefly. I'd love to hear what you guys all sound like so if anyone ever wants my number just PM me. And I really do have a lack of accent but what did you expect? I'm from the NW and we're known for our lack of any accent whatsoever.
