November 29th I ordered from e-Toys a Digital Drum with Stool and Lights and Sounds Aircraft Carrier for my grandson for Christmas. On December 2nd I got a confirmation email and my credit cards was charged. I checked my order status yesterday and it said "You should have received this order." I haven't. I emailed them, because there isn't a number to call, and received an email back saying that "we never received your order. Would you like to place it again?" I've emailed them back telling them about my confirmation and my credit card but it will take 14 days to clear it up. Now I can't find the toys anywhere. They're sold out!!!
Oh Sheri, I'm so sorry. How old is your grandson? Just call and explain to your family, I agree with Shirl....an after Christmas gift is a nice idea as well.

I placed an order for my Mother in law for a Mayflower boat kit that you build yourself, her grandson asked for one for Christmas. Well the website bitsandpieces STILL hasn't shipped it. I ordered it on 2nd of December. I did some research and a LOT of people have complained about their slow shipping and that you can't get thru to customer service. Their tracking is conveniently down, and when you call their phone number nobody answers!
I'm REALLY upset---worse so because it wasn't something for me.
A friend of mine ordered something last year and never got it! They charged her card but it never came. Every time she called the phone number she got no answer. It obviously was not a good place to shop and she got scammed. It is very sad!!
I'm so sorry that happened to you. I had been looking for some things for Brennan and I came across etoys. I read some reviews and they were not good. A couple of them actually said the same thing that happened to you. They placed the order and were charged but never received the product. Internet shopping is scary.

You all make me feel very lucky, as I have, so far, had very positive experiences with ordering stuff on line!! I will certainly be more cautious from now on. Thanks for that tip, Loz!!
is there a cinsumer council or something where you can complain and they check into the store?

I ordered a kitchen knife for my SIL online---the midddle of November--Well BEFORE T-giving. so---Dec 3 or so I still do not have it---I call--no answer--(me worrying here) so then I e-mail them. so 2 days later my check is cashed--now I wait---2 weeks later I call they go check--(probably to the next desk)--and say yes it went out today--so 2 days later I do get it. It came Fed-x. Somebody had paritally opened it---luckily for me, the knife was wrapped in a peice of paper and it could not be gotten out of the box so the "stealer" could see what was in the box---I now have my SIL's knife--Finally !!!
Did I mention the place I orderd from is not a big fancy corporation--but a small mom & pop place----It is things like this that make me want to just NOT order online---
