Buying boxed chocolate only for Christmas was a tradition in DH's family so we've kept it that way. Mind you the bars and kisses don't count in that category

ahhhhhhh now it is all clear--- We do not give candy as gifts traditionally--but it is an added extra sometime4s--depends on the giftee.
(the year I lost 35 LB. my family gave me 5 boxes of chocolate at Christmas. all of it the good stuff., so I there was none I could rationaluize throwing away. Now what does THAT say??--I guess they like me FAT???

I'm allergic to chocolate and DH still buys me chocolates for Valentines Day. I can eat milk chocolate and get only hives but the real good dark chocolate sickens me awful.

The mint ones are really good Carol!! The ones I got are called mint truffle kisses I believe. They have a mint filling inside of dark chocolate! Yummy!!
I still can't find that ribbon....I am going to go crazy looking for it.
Last night I went up to sis-in-laws and little Emma and I put up the Christmas tree up there(sis-in-law took my daughter for a hair cut then out to supper). I just love the look of a pre-schooler eyeing up the tree in amazement. She told her father that it was the prettiest tree ever....and of course that I'm a very smart girl
It's funny because Emma looks at me like a child and not an adult, she'll call and ask me to go up and play(which I do), when we visit and the house is full she'll take me by the hand to go play in the toy room. Last night I played hide and seek for an hour

Yep I have the caramel kisses too... They are very good!
There isn't really anything that I haven't been able to find but I have a little more shopping to do. I am hoping to finish this weekend. I should be able to do it!
I'm done with everything but I have a doctors appointment in town Wednesday so I'll just take a sneak in at Wal-Mart and maybe treat myself to a new sweater for Christmas.....and more chocolates

I thought I was done but my mother brought over more gifts so today I picked her up two more gifts today as well. I am beginning to feel like Loz...you know when you feel like everyone has to have the same amount
I had to go to town with my uncle to do my grandmother's shopping...the stores were crazy..

well Loz---you can look at it like I am--if the gifts do not get here in time for Christmas--well then it will just stretch out Christmas--as these gifts will be arriving after Christmas. so the 'fun" will continue !
I am so glad you are done as well
