Well bummer. It won't accept my vote. Is that because it is only 8:20 my time?

I do it all. Stephen and I usually talk at night and we have the baby monitor on the table on my side of the bed....well, Maddie has a space heater in her room so the monitor picks up the constant "ssssshhhhhhhh" sound that it makes, so it is somewhat of a noise machine. LOL...more like a NOISY machine!

I fall asleep with the hum of my husbands sleep apnea machine. Funny thing is I used to be a "sleep only when it's totally quiet" type person. But since my hubby got his machine, I actually miss it when I try and fall asleep without him there.

loz, I don't know if my vote registered yesterday or not. But I usually sleep with the fan on for noise. I do not have a TV in my room, and never will, because I will not invite the entire planet into the most inner sanctum of my home. To me, a bedroom is meant to be a place of peace and joy and is therefore unsuitable for all the crazy stuff on TV. Same reason I won't have a desk in my room either. Who wants to be reminded of buisness while trying to sleep or love?!

I prefer to sleep face flat on my tummy on a very firm mattress or the floor. It always drives them crazy in the hospital to find me sleeping like that and they are always trying to raise the head of the bed and flip me over. When I'm too sick and really can't be on my tummy, they put me on my side and put pillows in front of me to imitate the sense of being on my tummy so I can sleep. I think the drugs help.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

I picked the combo answer because I fall asleep by reading AND having the TV on.....I don't think I could sleep if I didn't have both.

I was going to put pills as a choice but I took it out at the last second.

I have a fan that Johnny says sounds like a jet engine. We don't sleep in the same room. We've tried and I can NOT sleep with the TV on and he can't sleep without it. I think it's the changes in the lights on the TV that wake me up.
