This has really been a depressing Christmas for me,, I haven't really been in the Spirit of things as I normally am this time of year. I didn't even put up a tree this year,, The only tree in this house is the one Carol sent along with 'Mick' for the Willy Village :wink: I will Be picking up my Grandsons tomarrow and bringing them here for Christmas Eve and all day Christmas,, But Still NO Tree was put up,, I just couldn't get myself up in the attic to bring it down, <<More to truth is I just didn't want to,
A while ago Dwight was talking with his Mother on the Phone and mentioned the fact I hadn't even put a tree up this year, or decorated for Christmas at all this year ...( That's my Job,, and he certainly didn't volunteer ).. All's I could do was give a big sigh, I started cooking Sunday Dinner and took a break and gathered up all the cards, not Just only the Christmas card sent ,, but also some I'd received thru out the year on a "just because I care" sending,, and I read each one word for word, over again,,, and I thought with so many friends that are sincere, and supportive of each other, and always looking out for the well being of each other here, IT hit me!!!!!!!! That I have so many branches of friendships across the U.S. and Canada that Heyyyyyyyyy WHY NOT????,,,, WHY not make a Christmas Tree of Friendship and tie it all together with a Big bow!
Sooooooooooo Dinner was put on hold and the Tree of Friends Grew out of depression and branched into gratitude and Happiness,,
Thank you sooooooo very Much my friends for Bringing the Christmas Spirit back into My home For 2007! I'm Sure My grandsons would Thank you too For Lifting My spirits today! <-from Tre' and Breyton-->

Diane - that is soooooooo wonderful! I love your creativity, and how you always incorporate your friends into it too! You could not have said it better - the gardenhelper friends are here through thick and thin, happy or sad, needy or not!
(I have to say, that I was looking for my card there, but remembered that you haven't received my package yet - I am sooooo frustrated about that - it should have reached you by now! Hopefully you will get it tomorrow before Christmas! )
Awwwwwwwww - I know Diane - I was just wishing that my package had made it your way already. I wasn't concerned that I didn't see a card from me there - I was just hoping that if my card was there, it meant that the package got there too!!!
Love your friendship tree and friends are more important than anything even though I haven't been here very long I already know I have friends here. For fun times and to be there for those having hard times.

I can't believe I have posted over 400. Long ways to go to 10,000!!!!! I work overnights so am sleeping when most of you are chatting I figured the first gold bar was 1,000 but not sure.
I really enjoyed sharing Christmas Cards with everyone, and am thinking up ideas for next year already

I cut off the return labels to all the cards I got and started a new GardenHelper Phone /address book,, Easier then writing everyone of them down,, Just cut and tape in the book,,
I know what you mean about chatting,, I work during the day, and miss a lot of fun and If I try to read to catch up on things that happened during the day, I get sleepy,, so I 'Skim" around and post where I find my interest,, sometimes I don't post at all,, just read and laugh at some of the sillies that are posted,, But I always check in everyday regardless my mood,, this place is like comfort food to me!

I have started a address book for Garden Helper too. Cuting the return labels does make it easier.
I to the same thing. I check this site out everyday and sometimes I post and sometimes I just read to catch up. Its a great way to wind down and relax. It is comfort food and no calories.

ALSO: I love your friendship tree--it is beautiful !! I was going to make one on the closet door in my living room-- BUT instead it now has a beautiful christmas banner on it---(of a kitty cat-thank you so much) so every once in awhile I get my cards out & read them to myself--and I smile big each time.
I too am so very glad I found all of you!!!
