Okay Carol I have the grandsons here and trying to entertain them as well!
Continued from ^ there .
When I got home from work My willys were just setting the table for their feast,, They will be eating off and on thru out the day and evening once the first initial meal is eaten,,or when ever they want cuz fresh food is always being brought to the table,, Their feasts consist of many types of bread,, nuts, berries, veggies, NO meats as gnomes love animals too much to eat them ,, Their drink is a spiced Vodka they have fermented with dates, cinnamon, all spice for 8 days before the festive dinner,, They asked for privacy during their gathering of the First meal, as it is custom amoung the Willys to dine without humans on Christmas Eve Day,, as this is a meal of their harvest they brought together in the fall,, and I respect that,, They did however let me get a picture as they started to set the table up,, Ohhhhhhh yes they also eat rice porridge with an Almond Just ONE almond placed in the bottom of ONE bowl of it,, who ever eats their porridge and finds the almond will be the next in line for marriage, Now from what they have told me , Sometimes this causes a rift between husband and wife should one of them find an almond at the bottom of their bowl. but since this willy village of mine is in harmony,, they place the almond just for fun and Old customs sake,, , Also they love pats of butter on top of the porridge, today I see someone put a lot of almonds on top of a bowl of porridge,, someone in the Village is playing a joke it seems,,
So far I see they have Spiced Vodka, Breads, baked sweet potatos, cherry's, pickles, rice porridge, grapes, walnuts, carrots, and mincemeat rolls,, I'm letting them finish and will be back later when they finish eating,,
"Grace without perfection is more to be desired than perfection without grace."
Well they've finished their sitting down together and have throw back several spiced vodkas after dinner,, and are now singing and talking and playing around,, and watching gnome music videos,, Mick the ladder builder really seems to have a love for Country Music,, He keeps playing this video over and over again,, I guess I could hear it one more time to share it with you since Mick is a new member of the Village, and is excited to be in Texas,, where he can find Some Real Cowboy music!!
This is his favorite cowboy song for right now,, it seems!
And just so you Do understand,, gnomes really DO dance and love all kinds of music,, This Guy's name is Buddy,, Cooooooooool gnome!! this gnome was visiting from down the street!! He only stayed for a little while and had his own dinner to go to,, But I have a feeling I'll be seeing a lot of him around here,,,,, See ya later Buddy!!! And this Christmas Eve party has started!! YIPEEEEEEEEEEE
Some of the willys continued to party and watch music video. In the mean time the twins has been begging Reader of the book Wee Willy to tell them some stories that their great great great great great grandparents told ,, tho they have heard them all before the twins are a little older now and appreciates these stories soo much more especially how Christmas Eve Festival came to be for the gnomes,, and how it has evolved into modern times,,
Soooo reader of the Book finally agreed and many willys gathered to listen to the reader as his way of telling the stories was so entertaining,, and meaningful,, Noone could tell any story better then he can,,
It all began with Jultomten,, In old Sweden,, Tomte'( a gnome) lived on a farm with humans,, He actually lived in a barn and watched over the animal, and crops,, as the story goes,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Reader starts reading from the Dictionary ( Uhh HEm A Human dictionary )
A tomte ['tɔ`m:tɛ] or nisse ['nìs:ɛ] is a mythical creature of Scandinavian folklore, believed to take care of a farmer's home and barn and protect it from misfortune, in particular at night, when the housefolk were asleep. Tomte is the common Swedish name, derived from his place of residence and area of influence: the house lot or tomt. Reader of the books stops and looks at me.. Folkelore , Creature!!!! I should say NOT this is True we are here to prove it!!,,!!
I know Reader I know,,( as I hand him another Spiced vodka to calm him ) Humans just say that because it would mean they are NOt the only existance of the intelligience in this world,,,,, Please continue!
He downed his drink and continued,,,,,,,,
The tomte/nisse was often known as a small, elderly man (exact size varies from a few inches to about half the height of an adult man), often with a full beard; dressed in the everyday clothing of a farmer.
Despite his smallness, the tomte/nisse possessed an immense strength. Even though he was protective and caring he was easy to offend. The tomte/nisse was a traditionalist who did not like changes in the way things were done at the farm. Another easy way to offend him was rudeness: farm workers swearing, urinating in the barns, or not treating the creatures well would be soundly thrashed. one was also required to please him with gifts – a particular gift was a bowl of porridge on Christmas night. If he wasn't given his payment, he would leave the farm or house, or engage in mischief such as tying the cows' tails together in the barn, turning objects upside-down, and breaking things (like a troll). The tomte liked his porridge with a pat of butter on the top. In an often retold story, a farmer put the butter underneath the porridge. When the tomte of his farmstead found that the butter was missing , he was filled with rage and killed the cow resting in the barn. But, as he thus became hungry, he went back to his porridge and ate it, and so found the butter at the bottom of the bowl . Full of grief , he then hurried to search the lands to find another farmer with an identical cow , and replaced the former with the latter. The belief in a tomte's tendency to bring riches to the farm by his unseen work could also be dragged into the conflicts between neighbours. If one farmer was doing far better for himself than the others, someone might say that it was because of him having tomtar on the farm, doing ungodly work and stealing from the neighbours. These rumours could be very damaging for the farmer who found himself accused.
In the 1800's the farm's tomte' became the bearer of Christmas presents in Denmark, and was then called "julenisse" or Juletomte'(n) with a sleigh pullled by a goat
gradually, commercialism has made him look more and more like the Humans' Santa still has features and traditions that are rooted in the local culture: he doesn't live on the North Pole, but perhaps in a forest nearby. he doesn’t come down the chimney at night, but through the front door, delivering the presents directly to the children, just like the Yule Goat did; he is not overweight; and even if he nowadays sometimes rides in a sleigh drawn by reindeer, instead of just walking around with his sack, his reindeer don’t fly - and many in Sweden still put out a bowl of porridge for him on Christmas Eve.

By this time everyone was gathered and had listened to the story tho many times told before it always bring them back "home" to the beginning of this season. I must say I was thrilled to hear it my self! as it is a priviledge to hear it as a human,,
every one was cheering for another story,," Pleasssssssssse " ,,, "Reader Tell another one",, ! " Yeah another!!!!!"... "You tell them sooooooo well",, ,,"" Please"" ,,, pleads were coming from left to right,, Reader proudly exclaimed,, "Okay Just one more ,, Then I shall go get another plate of food to eat!"

'Reader' told his listeners he had been putting together a story about a gnome named Joey,, This gnome had many regrets in his life,, He'd lost a good women, Didn't continue learning how to make a good life,, He was too into himself to appreciate what life was giving him. He never faced his problems head on,, He never took a stand, and always backed down from responsibilties,, and he always regretted all the wrong he's done,, Reader went on to confess he had put together some videos to modern music, that he knew the Willy Village would Like,, and after getting a go ahead From Wild Willy,, he was thrilled when the Village asked for one more story.
He just has one question,,,, Some where in time after this true story was told A human made a simulair story called the Christmas Carol about a selfish man, that had Ghosts in it Ghost of Christmas Past, Present, and Future,, Now WHO Ever heard OF a Christmas Ghost,, That's Just Nutty says Reader!
Any way Joey ran from his problem out the back door , out the front door, out second story window,, Geeeeeeez,, He did a lot of running,, and Nope he's NO Kin at all to the Running Brothers of the Village!
Eventually Joey found him self alone Oh sure he had people he hung around with,, But as they say,, Never hang with people who will keep you down,, Joey realizes he need a Home,, Every gnome Needs a home,, Here he's confused, and keeps making plans to go home but still scared not knowing if he'll be accepted and forgiven, But still He knows he must go Home,,,
Joey Does decide to finally go home But sleeps that night with still fear on his mind,, As he falls into a deep sleep he hears echos of the people he hangs with saying Mannnnn you can have it all if you come with us and run free and live day to day we could go see every where do anything we want,, But then and angel came into his dream and whispered "IF all Gnomes just scattered everywhere and None of them had homes for security,, and noone to protect them what do you think would happen to the Children of the gnomes>> Who would care for them ,, Who would provide for them, Who would love them??"
Joey fell into a deep sleep and dreames of the Children of the Gnomes the last two in existance,,
continued from ^ there Joey woke the next morning with a new found strength and determination,, HE WAS going home and face it all, and won't back down,, NOT matter what faces him,
Joey went home and all was forgiven ,, he didn't ever get his woman back but he gained respect over time by writing in journals and keeping records for his town, He eventually made he way to texas and has settled in at the Willy Village to live out the rest of his life as the story teller, record keeper, reader of the rule books, Yes Joey is Reader,, He loves the name Reader and wishes to be known only as Reader,, ,, I am proud of you reader,, you have given us all a valuable lesson thru your life story,,, Reader was just about to say something to me when suddenly a flash of gold and red light appeared swiftly and sure as I'm sitting here,,
suddenly it went dark and the little tree that Mick brought started to light up

Johnny thanked the orb for transporting him from Alaska, and explained that he was always entertaining those gnomes that worked on the Pipe line,, however he was at a time in his life that the cold long months of winter was wearing him thin and his health wasn't good and had been a long time friend of the winter fairys there and they in turn healed him in their Orb and transported him to Our Orb in waiting for the right time to come thru,, He said because my friends helped me out this Season and lifted my spirits for the Christmas holiday, they and I were deserving of his music,, and so he is here to live out his life in TX and never have to feel the harsh cold winters of Alaska again,, See Friends your support you give from your hearts goes beyond humans, :ding:
Ohhhhhhhh He also says He is quite out spoken and always puts his 2 cents in,, so anyone that follows him will always be reminded of that ,, Just look at his back pack,, ,,

I apologize for hijacking this point of the celebration, but I thought that this might be a good time to make an important announcement.... In April, I will be 203 years old and regrettably I have never seen all that the world has to show me. My itinerary is still in the planning stages, but in mid January I will begin the first leg of Wild Willy's world tour by visiting my wonderful friends down at the Rock Tower Village (I hope Onehand and the GranPoohBah don't mind) . Once I get my world map ready and passport in order, I'm off to Texas... where will I go from there???? There are a lot of gnomes that I'm looking forward to meeting! We'll keep you informed of where and when as soon as we know more.....
