So who else has eaten so much turkey that they are in a constant need for sleep the past few days? haha

We had LO's, also known as left overs, for dinner tonight....YUM for the turkey, but man it does make me sleepy.....

What all did everyone have for their dinners?

We had turkey, brussels sprouts, carrots, peas, corn, mashed potatoes and gravy, Roasties(potatoes cooked in the drippings), stuffing, cranberry sauce, and rolls.

Traditional English Christmas pudding for dessert....with rum and brandy in it! It's SO filling, you can only eat a tiny piece really. Very rich.

for christmas dinner, we had ham (from the honey baked store), mashed potatoes, corn, broccoli casserole, and mac-n-cheese (homemade). it was by far the biggest christmas dinner we have had in years. but we had it christmas eve.

so yesterday was left overs, and this morning ham biscuits. tonight, we went to our favorite barbeque spot. the ham is "stewing" to get off the bone to go in the freezer for potato soup later.

I made sausage and egg breakfast burritos yesterday. An army of them. That is all I ate yesterday besides some fresh fruit.
Today was steaks (ribeyes) and baked potatoes, yams w/oranges and a fruit salad. All provided by our company. I did some of the cooking but not much. And all of the clean up after. I have a tiny kitchen and I don't like to share the space.

Christmas eve was baked chicken, potato salad, jell-o w/ veggies, dip & veggies, bread, butter & cookies. I know I am missing things but we ate so much this last 2 days.

then for breakfast on xmas day--we had apple butterbraide, various flavored turnovers, & filled donuts.
for lunch, marinared pork roast, roasted potatoes, cheese plate, olives, cauliflour salad,--veggie plate--2 types of sandwich breads

Supper--ham & marinated beef--roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes, gravy, spiced, apple cider carrots, macaroni & cheese, the left over veggies & dip, rolls & butter--and very many types of pies & cookies.--there may have been a lettuce salad-- notme

and of course many things of which to drink---------- notme

hey, Loz--they did not feed me turkey---- why

We didn't have turkey....we had prime rib. And to be honest, I didn't eat much of it. I haven't really been big into meat lately. I just loaded up on mashed potatoes, corn, and green beans.

Christmas Eve we had ham, potatoes and all the fixins along with a meat and cheese tray, veggies and dip, chili cheese dip and lots of desserts!

Christmas Day we had prime rib, beef roast, potatoes, veggie bake, chicken wild rice casserole, meatballs, salads, marinated mushrooms and lots of desserts and all kinds of other things. I guess we didn't have turkey either. We usually have turkey for Thanksgiving and ham and beef for Christmas. why I was still tired though Loz! lol

For Christmas dinner we had a long blade roast, wide egg noodles w/ stroganoff sauce, and a variation of green bean casserole (without the mushroom soup because I'm not allowed to eat canned soup), and dinner rolls. It was all very good.

We don't eat desserts typically, so we didn't make any.

Maxi enjoyed a small amount of Christmas candy, though.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.
