Someone told me of a new trend called "Houseplant Parties". These are similar to tupperware parties, but with houseplants. Some lady started it to make extra money and has a huge business organizing these get-togethers. Has anyone ever heard about this???

I have heard of these, and actually had one a long time ago. This one sold plants all potted, but they did not use dirt. they used pellet things and the pots were quite different. They had a tube that showed you when you needed to water. The plants looked beautiful when you bought them. I don't remember why but I didn't continue with it. why

Yes. It's a mix and then you mix it with drained, diced tomatoes and sour cream. It's yummy.

The plants are purchased from a wholesaler. I guess it is just a traveling greenhouse.
