I've read they can be difficult to germinate. They need certain requirements, mainly 12 hours of light and constant heat aound 70 degrees or so.

My furnace room is where everything has been germinating and growing under lights. It's very warm in there. I wonder if maybe I should invest in a heating pad thing. ??
