I just got my daughter, 16, a set of nifty knitter looms for Christmas. She has taken off with it and is designing her own clothes now. Too cool. I haven't seen a potholder loom for a while. But I did see the loops for them at a Michael's.

I knit and crochet and they both seem easy now lol But I had a hard time to learn to crochet as I hold my crochet hook like I do my knitting needle, so I had to teach myself to crochet. Everyone lost their paience trying to teach me. yikes

well i know my momnlaw does both and shes quick with both and says both are pretty easy but when i use to do them as a kid i always thought crocheting was easier cause i didnt like working with the big n bulky needles and depending on what your making sometimes you have to use like 4 at one time but whatever floats ya boat thumbup

I took up crochetting a couple of years back and I love it, but only seem to do it in the winter time for some reason. sometimes I get books from the library and as far as patterns go, it seems there is more of a variety with knitting. I've never knitted but it seems like it would be harder. if you have a needle in each hand...how do you hold the yarn? ha ha
