I remember that. What a difference.

And reading back whatever happened to the other Sheri that spells her name like me?

Wasn't that HORRIBLE!!! Contact paper EVERYWHERE, and metal cabinets! And the paper was flowered brown, orange and yellow! Makes me cringe! lol

My kitchen is my favorite room in the house....it gets a lot of light, and it's bright and cheerful......no real theme, just what I like to call Tradition Country Floral. lol After it was finished I sat out there all the time, couldn't believe the difference! I still sit out there a lot at the kitchen table with my laptop.

I'm not sure whatever happened to the other Sheri---she just disappeared! Maybe someone else knows more than me....and I'd love to see updated pics of your bathroom Sheri! thumbup

I had not seen your remodeling job either, Loz--so thanks from me too.
It is so very nice---

tell mark I think he did a "splendiforus" job.-- thumbup

The paper tells you how old the Kitchen was---In 1980 when we moved into the "farm" my Kitchen was in need of repair--
I found this "wonderful"-(? lol)- yellow/green/orange wallpaper, put it up and I thought it was just beautiful rolz
I am so glad you like your new kitchen--If you think about it that is the room one spends the mopst time in, so that is the room we should be happiest with --don't ya think??

About the other Sheri wasn't here name spelled with 2 "r's" ??

YES,--updated pictures of Sheri's bathroom please---

I'll tell him you said that Carol! lol His job now is as a custom cabinet maker, he makes all the cabinets for high end kitchens.....I think the last one he worked on was for a woman that ended up with a $100,000 kitchen!!!! shock

I may not love cooking but I do spend a lot of time out there for sure.

And your wallpaper? Well what one person dislikes another likes. I'm just not into the browns and oranges....It's like I can't stand wood paneling at all, and every room in this house just about has it. The living room had DARK paneling....nice though, not the plasticy kind....but we painted over it and it looks so much better to me....but some people LOVE wood paneling.

I remember that remodelling job.

We have a few things to do here this year....replacing windows is still on our list. That tornado and hail storm took a chunk out of the money for them last year.

My point was not that I still love the colors--My point was it was so the "IN" thing to do---back in the 80's---I had long since gotten rid of the "wonderful" wallpaper---but because of the plaster & slatt walls, which we left in place, I was forced to re-panel the kitchen walls there--so I chose slate blue as a color--Blue was very big that year---

Of course now in this house, the walls are white
